Been a long time, no? And it’s not for lack of activity. I’ve been hunkered down working on our impending tour of the Great White North with the MAYDAY! string band, featuring Sammy Lind and Caleb Klauder from the whirled-famous Foghorn String Band along with Maridon and I. Young Conor of Well-Strung fame will be our illustrious bus driver, and the Bearfoot band was kind enough to lend us a sound system so we’re in business. Check out my MySpace for the schedule. Many great things have been happening musically this spring, the Alaska Folk Fest being one of the big ones. Thanks to Junior and Andrew from the Great Alaska Bluegrass Band, as well as Maridon Boario, for backing me up on my main-stage set. Also to Maridon, Bob Banghart, and the Knight brothers for great nights of original and classic country music at the Rendezvous and the armory. Good, clean, American livin, friends. I’ll be posting dates for the tour on myspace as I book them (several up already) and I’m booking music at the Alaskan now so keep your eyes open on the calendar there. Thanks for checkin’ in. I’ll try to be a little more “regular” on updating blogs once we head out on the mean old nasty road. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do, and we’ll see you out there. Cheers, Sean Tracey. Less than a month til the BOOGIE!

| Sweet Turnout! Posted 3-14-08 |
Wow, and thanks to everybody who turned out for my CD release party a couple weeks ago. I couldn't have asked for more that night as far as all of you who came to dance, and everybody who helped me set up the Juneau Arts and Culture Center to make it look like a bar so the band could function. Sergei, thanks for lighting. Collette, karens, Maridon, thanks for helping with set up and tear down and just being badass. Blazer Club, thanks for stepping up security and for drinking all the goddam Bush Mills before I could get off stage. Malin Lind, Taylor Grover, and Scott Fry, thanks for travellin' lots of miles to be here for the show. Band guys, you all rock thanks. Keep an eye on my MySpace page for upcoming dates. Touring up North this May with the Mayday stringband that lent their talents to my CD project. Take er easy and don't do anything I wouldn't do, which ain't much. At least ONCE. Cheers, Sean Tracey Juneau Supports Live Music
